DK weight tweed yarn made of 85% soft superwash merino (mulesing-free) and 15% donegal neps. The 4-ply construction makes this yarn perfect for cables and textured stitches. Highly recommended for sweaters, hats and scarves.
The recommended needle size is 3.25mm to 4.0mm for sweaters and 4.5mm to 5mm for shawls.
What is an OOAK colour?
OOAK means "one of a kind". These colours are not standard colours on the dyer's palette and they are only available until our current stock lasts.
We put a lot of work in photographing our yarns to represent the colours accurately. However, what you see on your screen depends not only on our work but also on the settings of your display. It is possible that the colours shown on the screen do not exactly match the colours of the yarn. Please be aware of this when ordering.
Hand-dyed yarns are artisan products, therefore slight variations between the individual skeins are possible, especially if they are from different dye lots. If you order several skeins, we cannot guarantee that they will all be of the same dye lot. If you intend to use more than one skein for the same project and the skeins are slightly different in colour, we recommend alternating skeins every two rows.
